Are you looking for a way to help your church grow, not just in numbers, but in being alive?
Are you open to growing in the knowledge and work of the Holy Spirit, but aren’t sure how to help your congregation join you in that process?
Growing the Church conference offers a practical guide for learning to engage with the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ has invited us to work with Him in building His Church and extending His Kingdom in the world. He does this by sending the Holy Spirit to grow us from within, to be his disciples and to come upon us for empowerment and gifts to work with Him.
“Learning to be led by the Holy Spirit and allowing Him to work through me to do the ministry of Jesus is the key to an alive and growing congregation that is reaching out in missions.” - Richard White, Pastor, Christ Community Church - Montreat
Participants will have opportunities to build prayer support and relationships with others in ministry as well as receive on–going mentoring, if desired. A team offering intercessory prayer, hospitality and ministry will help to make this a restful and transforming week.
Are you dry, tired, lonely? Lacking the energy to do the Lord's work? Maybe it's time to gather with fellow Spirit-filled Christians!
We Invite you to fan the flame. Coals warm up when they are closer to the middle, surrounded by other coals.
Paul reminds us: "God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline." (2 Timothy 1:7) God has placed his gifts in us. Now we need to reinvigorate them.
We invite you to gather with us March 23rd to fan the flame because this has been a year of change and God doing a "new" thing. New manna, new plans, new vision all mean letting go of what was, to embrace what the Lord is doing in this season.
Moving forward can be filled with joy and anticipation, but also trepidation and grief.
As we are gathering together for prayer, teaching, encouragement and blessings, may we realize what a gift the Lord has given us through this fellowship.
Pray that we move forward in step with the Lord, not rushing ahead, but not holding back.
May the Name of Jesus be lifted High and His Kingdom come in our families, churches and country.

Our Keynote Speakers
Reverend Cindy Strickler, Director and Head of Staff of PRMI, Director of the Dunamis Fellowship International, Vice President and Dean of Faculty for the Dunamis Institute and is concurrently site manager for the three construction projects at the Community of the Cross. In addition to these duties, Cindy continues to be active in teaching and training up other teachers and leaders for worldwide ministry. She especially enjoys teaching and directing PRMI’s healing and deliverance ministry courses. She has co-authored Growing the Church in the Power of the Holy Spirit and Let Jesus Heal Your Hidden Wounds as well as editing many of the Dunamis materials.
Reverend Trevor Payton, Executive Director of DFC, began his journey of learning to cooperate with the Holy Spirit at a Guelph Dunamis event in 2009 when he was pastoring his first church. Trevor has been ordained as a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Christian Reformed Church since 2006, serving churches in Ontario and New Jersey. He thoroughly enjoys any opportunity to serve as a Dunamis Project Teacher because this material has renewed and reshaped his own life so powerfully.
Outside food will not be permitted on the grounds of the Conference Centre. If you plan to bring your own food, you must eat away from the grounds. There are many restaurants in the area.
Are we really in some kind of spiritual warfare?
Paul tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” What is he talking about, and what else does the Bible reveal about our role and God's role in the struggle against the world, the flesh and the devil?
This fifth Dunamis Project addresses the reality of the demonic realm, personal deliverance ministry, the discernment process, the importance and effectiveness of the armor of God as outlined in Ephesians 6, spiritual warfare, and kingdom advancement.
If you move in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and seek to advance the kingdom of God then you will inevitably come across spiritual opposition, whether it is subtle or direct. This course will give systematic teaching and experience of what that is and how to deal with it.
Whether you have reached a place in your Christian faith or ministry where it feels like you are trying to do too much on your own, or you are simply curious or skeptical about the nature and work of the Holy Spirit for today, this conference is a fantastic way to begin your journey in cooperating with the work of God.
In this second of the six Dunamis Project conferences, In the Spirit’s Power, you will look at what Scripture teaches about how God's Spirit calls us to cooperate with him, becoming people who change the world for the glory of Jesus Christ.
April 3-7, 2019 - Sutton AK
Have you ever wanted to be more effective in your prayer life?
Do you think God only answers the prayers of “prayer warriors?”
In “The Power of Prayer” we look at how any Christian can pray with vision and power. Sessions move between focusing on growing in intimacy with Jesus Christ through prayer and participating with God in shaping the future through intercessory prayer.
Comments from recent participants:
- “I feel the Lord used this time to call me into deeper relationship with Him & new work for the Kingdom.”
- “Renewed my hope to be persistent in prayer”
- “Thanks for the reminder of our empowerment as believers to intercede for God’s work in the world. I am encouraged to pray for the struggles of my friends and family.”
We cover topics like:
- The Life of Prayer: Nurturing Intimacy with God
- Intercessory Prayer
- Vision and Prayer: Sharing in the Advancement of the Kingdom of God
- Practical Instructions for Nurturing Prayer
Whether you think you are simply “not good” at prayer, want to go deeper in your walk with God through prayer, or want to grow in your understanding of intercessory prayer, this conference will give you Biblical foundations and practical instruction to help you grow in both personal and corporate prayer, led by the Holy Spirit.
The Early Bird cut off date is March 31, 2019, at which time there will be an additional charge of $25.
